Essential Oils (EOs) are natural plant-derived compounds known for their diverse biological activities, which have been used for therapeutic purposes for centuries. These complex mixtures contain volatile chemical compounds belonging to various chemical classes, such as terpenoids, isothiocyanates, and phenylpropanoids. Extraction methods, mainly steam distillation, yield these potent compounds, and their beneficial therapeutic properties are well-documented.
EOs exhibit remarkable functions as antifungals, anti-virals, and anti-bacterial, making them valuable tools in combating infectious agents. Moreover, a term frequently associated with EO function is “immunomodulation,” where certain active ingredients in EOs can either boost or suppress the immune system based on medical needs and treatment objectives.
For certain disease conditions involving inflammatory and autoimmune responses, attenuating immune function can be highly beneficial. Additionally, preventing an exaggerated inflammatory response to infections safeguards the host from potential harm that may outweigh the threat posed by the infectious pathogen.

Gut Health
We propose a collaboration to examine the impact of our supplement on gut health and its ability to support the immune system, ultimately leading to improved animal welfare. By conducting comprehensive research and analysis, we aim to provide empirical evidence of the supplement’s positive effects on gut health and its potential to enhance overall animal health and performance.
Potential Anti-methanogenic activities of natural oil supplement
Essential oils supplement major compounds interact with the heart (core) of the active site pocket of the enzyme with high binding energy, whereas 1-3-dioxane interacts with 2 active sites of the enzyme with low binding energy and low affinity like the endogenous substrate methyl-SCoM and 3NOP.
Antibiotic Growth Promoter (AGP) Replacement
In alignment with global trends toward reducing antibiotic use in livestock production, we intend to investigate the effectiveness of our supplement as a viable alternative to antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs) in livestock and poultry feed. Our objective is to establish that our supplement can deliver comparable growth-promoting effects without relying on antibiotics, contributing to a more sustainable and responsible approach to farming.
Plant growth supplements
Over the past 18 months, we have developed a supplement that, when applied to plants through watering the soil, yielded encouraging results. Our initial research focused on tomato, rice, and chili pepper plants. We observed improved crop harvests and noted enhanced nutritional values in the treatment groups. In our research, we aim to replicate these findings to ensure their reproducibility and gain deeper insights into the underlying mechanisms responsible for these positive outcomes.
